When sex addiction showed up in Lili's primary relationship many years ago, she eventually had a deep knowing that its presence was leading her not only towards her own recovery, but for her to embrace others' suffering from the same painful circumstances. In Lili's own words: “By integrating my own experience plus that of others, with my years of ongoing research in sex addiction/narcissism, I hope to guide those who are suffering the effects of being partnered with a sexual compulsive into a healing experience. For myself, I can say that though the Discovery phase and the difficult years which followed it were among the most painful of my life, I was also blessed with great healing and growth along this journey. It is this which I hope to share.” In 2010 she founded the Partners of Sex Addicts Resource Center (posarc.com) to provide the psycho-educational help she wished had been available to her during her own painful years of being partnered with a sexual compulsive.
