The FlameWalker Podcast helps those recovering from the trauma of narcissistic abuse — and those navigating spiritual crisis, emotional collapse, or the dark night of the soul — find clarity, strength, and awakening through deeper truth.
Hosted by Kaleah LaRoche, this podcast walks the edge between shadow and spirit, trauma and transcendence. It speaks to those who have been broken open by life and are searching for meaning, direction, and a path back to their true essence.
Each episode weaves spiritual insight, shadow psychology, and energetic awareness into a grounded map of transformation — exploring how the ego illusion shatters, how the self is rebuilt, and how awakening unfolds through the fire.
If you are walking through the flames of awakening, you are not alone.
You are a FlameWalker — one who turns pain into power, darkness into wisdom, and fire into light.

Empaths in relationships with narcissists and other's who are not emotionally available, often carry the emotional weight of others through projection, emotional absorption and self-abandonment—without even realizing they are doing it.
Have you ever walked away from a relationship wondering why you feel emotionally devastated while the other person seems to move on completely unscathed? You may have been carrying more than your own emotional weight.
As highly sensitive and empathic people, we can become so accustomed to feeling the emotions of others that we don't always recognize when we have taken on something that doesn't belong to us. We analyze their behavior, try to understand their wounds, worry about what they're feeling, attempt to repair the relationship—and somewhere along the way, we leave ourselves.
In this episode of The FlameWalker Podcast, I explore the emotional and energetic dance that happens when one person disowns or projects their emotional reality while another person absorbs it and carries it. This dynamic can be especially powerful between narcissistic people and empaths. One person projects and disowns; the other absorbs and implodes.
The empath may end up carrying the grief, confusion, rejection, shame, fear and emotional burden for both people. But there comes a time when we have to ask: Is this mine? We can have compassion for someone's wounds without carrying them. We can understand another person without abandoning ourselves. We can love someone and still release them to walk their own path. Sometimes healing means handing back what was never ours to carry—and refusing to pick it up again.
